About TEA Compilations
We spend a great deal of time seeking out good music on the internet and radio we feel very passionate about. The range of music on our compilations is usually: pop, rock, alternative, blues, hip-hop, R&B, folk, electronica, ambient, acoustic, experimental, and singer/songwriter. Anyone can submit music for inclusion onto TEA compilations, but that doesn't mean it will be accepted. Criteria for reviewing your song material is 1) composition 2) melody 3) lyrics 4) originality.
We are currently looking for and accepting submissions from songwriters interested in appearing on our 2008 Compilation CDs, which will be distributed to many radio stations , film, TV, and print media sources for review.
We have the experience and connections to get your music on the radio, as well as being reviewed and distributed to music industry professionals.(see testimonials) This is a shot to get the much needed feedback that is essential for artistic growth. Our service can open the right doors and make the right connections and get your songs recognized.
TEA record label artists are selected from our TEA compilations, based on success at radio, film, live performance and other media sources.
Radio Tracking
 We recognize the personal importance of sharing one's music with others and the sense of fulfillment it can bring. Feedback is essential for any artist to grow and mature. You may just want to hear your song on the radio or read a review of your material online or in magazines. You may seek a record label or your own connections in the music industry. Whatever the reason we have the contacts needed of people who are accepting of independent material. We will report via internet to artists on our compilations who receive radio airplay, get reviewed online or in magazines. We track our compilations by phone and email.
Film Submissions
 Every artist on a TEA compilation CD will receive FREE Film Submissions for a 4 month period, suited to their musical genre. We have many good and established contacts in the film industry, who require specific music or audio for film, TV and video games. We will submit your song for film jobs that are requesting a specific genre, atmosphere, effect or description of content needed. If your music is placed in film, video games or TV you will be contacted by music supervisors who will work out licensing and other agreements and methods of payment. TEA will not negotiate contracts for artists but will be happy to assist with concerns or questions regarding the finalization process.
Showcases
 Selected artists who are accepted onto TEA compilation CDs will have the option to perform in a showcase in the Toronto area. Showcases are promoted through radio, newspaper, and magazines. They are then recorded and streamed live to radio through SRN Mediaworks, who then syndicate out to many other radio stations. View Showcase pics and video streams. TEA Radio
 Many TEA artists are featured on various radio shows throughout the year. Please observe TEA radio for scheduled show dates and times. Indietalent and SRN Mediaworks are always playing TEA artists music along with many other radio stations and DJ's. Also, selected TEA compilation artists music is chosen for our radio ad spots, which advertise our many services. Have a listen to TEA Ad spots at TEA Radio
Collaboration
 One of the great opportunities of a compilation CD is to meet other songwriters and performers. An open invitation exists to artists in the Toronto area, other regions of Canada, or out there in cyberspace, to get in touch, share ideas, participate in collaborative works, and form a community. You may end up writing a song with another musician on one of our compilation CDs. If you are interested in working with other TEA artists in a studio setting, please let us know and we can work to accommodate your needs.
Submissions and Confirmation
Attention: Artists only pay $200.00 if asked or accepted onto a TEA Compilation CD. There is no charge for submissions, and participants retain all rights and royalties to their music. We are currently looking for and accepting submissions from songwriters interested in appearing on our TEA Volume 13 compilation CD. This opportunity is open to songwriters of all age groups and music genres. Criteria for reviewing your song material is 1) composition 2) melody 3) lyrics 4) originality. If you have received our invitation email or you are submitting your music for consideration please follow the step by step directions below outlined in the confirmation process.

Confirmation Process 
Please follow the directions below to confirm your position for TEA volume 12. You will need to confirm your placement by completing the information below within a three week period of being placed on reserve. If you have any questions please contact us.

Make cheque out to Toronto Experimental Artists for $200.00 CAD or use paypal or credit card of choice by clicking on add to cart button below  Compilation fee $200 CAD Send your music on audio CD to the address below. We would like to hear as much of your music as possible to help determine the most radio friendly track that will achieve the most success at radio, internet, print and film. TEA South 101 Burlington St. Toronto, Ontario Canada M8V 3W1 Mail us your completed contract form, audio CD and cheque in one package with your return mailing address on the top left hand corner. We will contact you the day your package arrives or payment is received.
If you are posted up on the Compilation CDs page, you are  (payment not received) or confirmed (payment and contract received) f or the TEA Volume 13 compilation CD. Please confirm your position with payment within 3 weeks of being placed on reserve. We apologize for the rush, but this is the only way to move forward to the completion of projects and deadlines. We will also contact you, as to whether or not you have been chosen to perform in a TEA showcase and if positions are still available. Not all compilations are showcased events.

Invitation Form Letter If you have received an invitation form letter, you have been selected to participate on the TEA Volume 13 compilation CD. The letter outlines important links and information about our compilations, promotional service and why you have been selected. We take a great deal of time and care in our selection of artists and this is not a record label release showcasing artists, but a promotional service that can help artists achieve some degree of success at radio, film, internet and print media. We are not asking for percentages of your music sales, royalties or rights of any kind. Our compilations are sold only to participants who are interested in extra copies. It is important to understand why we charge a fee to be able to offer this service of promotion to selected artists. Example of Invitation Form Letter(Name of Artist)We were listening to you this week on (name of internet site or radio station) and we really like the song (name of song or songs chosen). We'd like to place you on our TEA Volume 13 compilation CD. (description of reasons why we like your music and have chosen it for our compilation).
